1. Entry open to:
Permanent residents (defined as the place where you normally live) of England, Scotland and Wales ;

4. For the duration of the scheme there will be monthly prize draw periods that will be applicable , eg 5th -30th June, 1st -31st July and 1st – 31st August 2008. In each case entries open at 00.00.01 and close at 23.59.59 on the relevant days.
5. Time of transaction/entry, as recorded by DVLA servers or servers acting on behalf of DVLA, will be deemed to be time of entry.
6. There is one entry per VED / SORN submission, however only one prize will be awarded per named keeper/ entrant for the duration of the prize draw incentive.
7. If users of the online services or dedicated phone service do NOT wish to be included in the prize draw for any reason, they may use the opt-out facility at the beginning of the transaction and they will not then be included in the draw.
8. The Prizes: There are 3 x SEAT IBIZA Ecomotive 1.4 TDI White Diesel cars to be won in each draw period. All cars won will be with standard specification and available only in white.
9. The prize includes one year’s VED (which is currently at zero rate due to the low emissions of the SEAT Ibiza Ecomotive 1.4TDI), standard manufacturer warranty and all registration, delivery and on the road costs. The prize also includes a voucher entitling the holder to a free Pass Plus Driver Training course to improve road skills.
10. Insurance, maintenance and running costs of the car are the responsibility of the winner from the date of their ownership. Appropriate insurance must be in place at time of collection otherwise collection will be delayed, and will be requested, along with photo ID and valid driving licence prior to receipt of the vehicle.
11. Delivery of the prizes is subject to availability but may be 28-56 days after the prize draw dependent on final specification of the winner’s car.
12. The winner may be required to attend their local SEAT retailer for a presentation of the car. Reasonable travelling costs for two persons will be reimbursed.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal value if, due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, the stated prizes are no longer available. Otherwise no cash or other alternatives to the prizes are available.
14. Winners will be determined via a random selection conducted within 14 days of each monthly Closing Date from all valid entries in a draw conducted by PromoVeritas, an independent promotional verification service in the presence of DVLA’s Internal Audit.
15. Each entrant will be allocated a unique identifier number, and this alone will be provided to PromoVeritas, to select, at random, a winner. Once a number has been selected, the DVLA will use its vehicle register to identify the name and address of the winner (where applicable) and will notify the winner at the address held on its vehicle register or at the address provided when entering via the microsite. No personal data will be disclosed to third parties, including PromoVeritas.
16. The Winners will be notified in writing within 28 days and Prizes may only be claimed by the individual named on the entry form or Vehicle Registration Certificate, and not a nominee or assignee. The promoter reserves the right to seek proof of age, identity and status of driving licence (if appropriate) and access the DVLA vehicle database to ensure compliance to entry conditions.
17. Winners must respond to the winner notification within 28 days otherwise their entitlement to the prize may be forfeit and the promoters shall be entitled to redraw the Prize without any liability for doing so.
18. The promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, delayed or lost entries as a result of technical or other failures.
19. Winners consent to taking part in reasonable publicity (if requested) on behalf of the Promoter and SEAT without charge.
20. The winner will be responsible for any tax liability (if any) arising from the winning of the prize.

22. The Promoter does not accept liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from this promotion or the awarding of the prizes or for issues with the car itself.
23. The Promoter reserves the right in their absolute discretion to cancel the promotion without prior notice in the event of circumstances arising beyond their control that make it necessary to do so.
24. By entering the competition, participants confirm that they have read, accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions, failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
25. In the event of a dispute the Promoter’s decision is final.
