Please note: All calls are handled initially by the local office call centre based in Swansea. Open: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. On the second Wednesday of each month the office will be open from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.
If visiting the local office please be aware that wheel clamping is in operation and is out of the control of DVLA. You may park in any space annotated DVLA. Any other space may be clamped.

Five spaces at the office. There’s also parking at the Castlegate Shopping Centre, in the town centre. Access to the office is then via the footbridge from the centre across the river Tees.

Cash machine at local store behind local office (300 metres) or Stockton High Street (0.5 miles).
Internal mail box by the entrance of the main door.

Directions
By Car
From the West:
leave the A66 on the A1045 for Stockton/Thornaby. Turn left onto Thornaby Road.
at the junction with the A1130, Mandale Road, follow the signs for Teesdale (right hand traffic lane)
at the next roundabout take the last exit onto Chapel Street
take the second exit, Harvard Avenue, at the next roundabout
take the first exit, University Boulevard, at the next roundabout
go straight over the next roundabout and turn left immediately onto St Mark’s Way (formerly Vasser Way)
the local office is situated on the ground floor of St Mark’s House on the left about 200 Metres along St Mark’s Way
From the North and South A19:
leave the A19 at its junction with the A66 and head west towards Stockton
exit at the first junction for Teesside Park and Teesdale. Follow the right hand lane for Teesdale.
after crossing the A66 and railway viaduct turn left at the next roundabout, Princetown Drive
go straight across the next roundabout
turn right at the next roundabout, Harvard Way
take the first exit, University Boulevard, at the next roundabout
go straight over the next roundabout and turn left immediately onto St Mark’s Way (formerly Vasser Way)
the local office is situated on the ground floor of St Mark’s House on the left about 200 metres along St Mark’s Way
From Middlesbrough and the East A66:
leave the A66 at the junction for Teesside Park and Teesdale. Follow the right hand lane for Teesdale.

From Portrack Lane:
head towards Stockton centre onto Church Road
at the roundabout with the A1305, Riverside, turn left, the immediate left for Teesdale, over the Princess of Wales Bridge
turn right at the next roundabout and turn immediate left onto St Mark’s Way (formerly Vasser Way)
the local office is situated on the ground floor of St Mark’s House on the left about 200 metres along St Mark's Way
By Bus
at Thornaby station take the footbridge (towards Stockton) to the right
once off the footbridge turn left and follow the road past the Dubliners pub and Alexanders Saab garage
cross the roundabout - straight ahead passed the small sainsburys at Bells shop
go straight across the cross roads (it’s a dead end) and the DVLA office is in St Marks House, the first bulding on the left
