Directions

By Car

  • by car approaching Norwich from the South West (A11)
  • cross the Norwich Southern Bypass, the Outer Ring Road and the Inner Ring Road (all on roundabouts)
  • this will then take you down St Stephens Street
  • crossing straight over the traffic lights takes you along Red Lion Street (with the Castle ahead of you) and you will bear to the right up Farmers Avenue
  • keep left , then bear left at the traffic lights on Cattle Market Street
  • down the hill, through traffic lights, you will come to Market Avenue
  • keep to the right of this road and through the next set of traffic lights, you will pass Anglia Television on your right
  • you will then be heading into Prince of Wales Road
  • By Bus

    • there are bus stops on Upper King Street and Bank Plain. Both these streets are close to the top of Prince of Wales Road.
    • nearly all buses through Norwich stop at Castle Meadow
    • from here follow signs towards the Railway Station and you will pass Anglia Television on your right
    • you will then be heading into Prince of Wales Road

    By Train

  • Thorpe Station (0.25 miles).
