Directions

By Car

General:

  • exit the M42 at Junction 6 and take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A45
  • follow the A45 for approximately 3.5 miles
  • at the traffic signals, turn right onto Sheaf Lane (Sign posted Garretts Green)
  • at the roundabout take the second exit onto Sheldon Heath Road
  • follow Sheldon Heath Road for approximately 0.5 miles
  • at the roundabout take the sixth (last) exit onto Garretts Green Lane
  • follow Garretts Green Lane for approximately 0.5 miles
  • turn right onto Granby Avenue, the local office is located toward the far end of Granby Avenue

From Edward House:

  • exit right onto Edward Street then turn immediate left onto Townsend Way
  • turn right onto Clement Street then left onto Sand Pits A457
  • at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Ladywood Middleway A4540
  • continue to follow A4540 at the next two roundabouts at which point the A4540 becomes Islington Row Middleway
  • continue following the A4540 through the underpass at Bristol Road and Perthshore Road and then, at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A4540 now called Highgate Middleway
  • continue to follow the A4540 at the first roundabout take the 2nd exit and then at the next roundabout, take the 4th exit (sign posted Birmingham International Airport/NEC/Coventry) onto the A45 Small Heath Highway
  • continue to follow the A45 (now called Coventry Road) at the next two roundabouts
  • approaching the Swan Island Intersection, do not follow the underpass but take the exit left onto the A4040 Church Road.
  • at the 1st roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4040 now called Stoney Way
  • continue following the A4040 until the traffic lights at the junction with the B4128 Bordesley Green East. At this junction, turn right onto the B4128 Bordesley Green East, leading to Meadway
  • at the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Garretts Green Lane
  • take the first left onto Granby Avenue, the local office is located toward the far end of Granby Avenue

By Bus

  • services 97, 53, 13 from Moor Street run close to Granby Avenue
  • if travelling on 11/C Inner Circle or 11/A Outer circle get off at Bordesley Green to connect with the 97 or the Yew Tree to connect with the 53 or 13
  • service 97 drops off at Meadway (approximately 650 yards from Granby Avenue)
  • services 53 and 13 drop off on Garrets Green Lane (approximately 130 yards from Granby Avenue)

By Train

  • Lea Hall train station is accessible from Birmingham New Street. The local office is approximately a 20 minute walk from Lea Hall Station
